How to make a whiteboard cleaning solution?

I want to make a solution that’ll clean my dry-erase board. When I try to clean my whiteboard, the marker stains won’t come off. I use Expo dry-erase markers. It’s probably because I leave the ink on the board too long. I use my whiteboard as a calendar, so I have to leave it on for a month before I erase it. But now the ink won’t come off. I tried using water, but it won’t work. But if I scrub hard enough, it would come off, but it would scratch my board. So is there anyway to make a whiteboard cleaning solution?

can you use ether dry erase or wet erase marker on a white board or do they require different kinds of boards ?

I have a white board and bought dry erase marker to use on it. When I wipe it the board doesn’t come clean even with the cleaning solution that came with the markers. I’ve tried Windex and a non abrasive cleaner too. The Non A cleaner works but is a pain.
