Today I asked why the french calender begins with the day Monday. Through some research I found that it has to do with an international unification statement. Anyways the person I asked told me it had to do with the church and how the cycle there works. However according to the church Sunday is the first day. I was wondering since the Gregorian calendar was created by the church if Sunday was also then considered the first day of the week within this calendar system… Or if it begins on a Monday like the other person suggested which is what the new system is adopted from.

There is a calendar that already exists in Yahoo. What I would like to be-able to do is this. Go to my yahoo front page and instead of having all of the news stuff first, I would like the calender to be the front page. Another words, I would like to see what’s on my agenda for the day first.

Hello. I am using Microsoft Outlook 2007 and I would like to make my tasks show up in the calendar in the respective due date. However, when I click on the calendar I cannot see my tasks IN the calender, only below it in a separate section. How would I view my tasks in a calendar in Outlook? Thank you.

I’m looking for a calendar which would allow me to add appointments with reminders. I’d like it to be able to pop up a reminder on the day of the appointment/event as soon as I start my computer.
Which calendar is able to do this?
I’ve been using Windows Calender but I don’t think it’s possible for it to automatically pop up reminders on the day of the event(s).

My default view in the private calendar is monthly, when someone goes to my public calendar its default view is weekly. How do I get the public calender to default to monthly?
